Design proposal combined traditional danish materials with modern Scandinavian design and building technologies. The main focus was on practicality, social, economic and environmental sustainability. Design was according client needs such as breathable and well ventilated rooms, achieving as much as possible sunlight into apartments and also implementing solar harvesting system on the roof. Originally, building was fitted with 14 apartments, but after the interior re-design 2 extra apartments were fitted in the attic. It had a big impact for overall economic sustainability and cost maintenance of the construction.
